Federal authorities have identified Agostino Abbatiello of Westbury, New York, as the principal distributor in a sprawling cocaine operation allegedly centered at Penn State University, according to criminal filings. The accusation places Abbatiello at the apex of the drug ring’s distribution network.
Abbatiello’s designation as the largest distributor emerged from a criminal complaint filed as investigators moved to dismantle what authorities describe as an organized drug trafficking enterprise. The case highlights alleged supply-chain operations extending from the New York area into the university community.
