Speaking with British Vogue, the 59-year-old Oscar winner acknowledged that each separation brings its own unique pain, describing the experience as something entirely unfamiliar despite her previous marriage to Tom Cruise.

Kidman filed for divorce from the 58-year-old New Zealand musician in Nashville last September, citing irreconcilable differences. The settlement granted her primary residential custody of their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, with both parents maintaining joint decision-making authority. Neither party requested spousal support, and both waived their right to attend the final hearing.

The actress admitted to experiencing profound fear during the dissolution of her marriage. “There was a point where I was very fearful and deeply vulnerable,” she told the publication, describing the exposure that accompanies such upheaval.
