A military helicopter went down in Bell County, Texas, on Monday afternoon, resulting in two fatalities, according to local law enforcement. The Bell County sheriff’s office received emergency notification of the crash shortly after 1:30 p.m., dispatching deputies to the remote location.
Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders discovered an out-of-control grass fire that had been ignited by the aircraft impact. The blaze required immediate attention from multiple agencies working to contain the expanding flames and secure the crash site.
