A plea agreement is expected to be finalized Monday for OnlyFans content creator Courtney Clenney, resolving charges tied to the stabbing death of her boyfriend Christian Obumseli in 2022. Court approval of the agreement would eliminate the need for trial and bring closure to the case, though sentencing details have not been made public by prosecutors or defense counsel.
Clenney, 30, has been held at Dade County Jail since her arrest in 2022 on a second-degree murder charge following the fatal stabbing inside their Edgewater luxury apartment. Her legal team maintains that she acted in self-defense during a physical altercation with Obumseli, her on-and-off partner at the time of the April 2022 incident.
Prosecutors have presented extensive video documentation showing the pair engaged in repeated violent episodes. Police body camera footage captured Clenney bloodied at the scene, while additional recordings depict her striking and slapping Obumseli in separate incidents approximately two months prior, including footage from an Aspen trip where she repeatedly slapped him.
The Obumseli family plans to appear at Monday’s proceeding to deliver victim impact statements before the court rules on the proposed plea arrangement. Family members have been involved in negotiations regarding the agreement’s terms.
