A pilot required hospital treatment after a small aircraft came to rest atop a house in the Fulshear area Monday morning, Texas Department of Public Safety officials reported. The incident involved a Piper J3C-65 plane bearing registration number N92432.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the aircraft had crashed directly onto the residence. Authorities transported the pilot to a medical facility for evaluation and treatment of injuries sustained in the accident.
The Texas DPS is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Additional details about what caused the aircraft to land on the home remain under investigation.
