A knife-wielding attacker targeted two Greek American visitors on a pedestrian thoroughfare adjacent to a main entrance of the Acropolis in Athens. The assailant wounded both a male and female tourist during the incident, which occurred in one of the Greek capital’s most visited areas.
The attack took place in a high-traffic zone frequented by thousands of daily visitors to the ancient monument. Authorities responded to the scene following reports of the stabbing.
