Haliburton contributed $10,000 to a GoFundMe campaign established for the family of 8-year-old Scarlett Guillen, who succumbed to Diffuse Midline Glioma, a rare and incurable brain cancer.
Flair told Fox News Digital that Haliburton’s financial gift proved instrumental in alleviating the family’s financial burden surrounding funeral arrangements. The wrestler said she thanked the Indiana Pacers player in person at the event, emphasizing the profound impact his actions had on both her and Guillen’s family members.
Scarlett had been identified as Flair’s most devoted admirer and was highlighted in a pre-WrestleMania 42 segment documenting their special relationship. Flair further honored the young fan by wearing butterfly-themed ring gear during the wrestling event.
Following Scarlett’s death, Flair shared an emotional tribute on social media, writing that the child’s life exemplified how length matters less than the love one leaves behind. Flair concluded her message by noting that Scarlett’s light would endure through family, friends, and the hearts she touched.
