Tom Brady and Logan Paul’s ongoing feud escalated into a physical confrontation Saturday night during an on-stage appearance at Fanatics Fest in New York City. The two personalities engaged in a heated exchange that required intervention from security personnel and onlookers, including NBA player Karl-Anthony Towns, to prevent further escalation.
During the incident, Brady attempted to strike Paul before bystanders separated the pair. The exact circumstances triggering the clash remained ambiguous immediately following the event, though both figures provided their accounts through social media in the hours afterward.
Paul used X to explain that he had made critical comments about Brady’s performance in flag football competition when the former NFL quarterback initiated physical contact. “This happened bc I was roasting Tom for beating him in flag football. And he tries to smack me ?? Horrible example for the kids,” Paul posted, noting that he sustained a tricep injury during the altercation.
Brady responded on X with dismissive language, calling Paul a “dork” and a “nerd” while suggesting he remained open to future confrontations with the internet personality.
The animosity between Brady and Paul has persisted since the football legend publicly questioned Paul’s athletic credibility earlier this year. Brady first made these comments during Super Bowl week and continued criticizing Paul at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic.
Brady recently discussed his interest in professional wrestling during a podcast appearance alongside WWE personality Cody Rhodes. The former Patriots quarterback indicated he would welcome involvement with WWE, stating he awaited an invitation from the organization to develop a storyline.
In April 2025, Brady expressed possible interest in attending WrestleMania 41, though he declined to confirm whether he would actually participate in the event. He praised WWE’s current operational direction and entertainment value.
