The Tate brothers are scheduled to appear Monday afternoon in federal court in Miami as the United Kingdom pursues their extradition on a lengthy list of criminal charges. British authorities have announced 38 additional counts against Andrew and Tristan Tate, bringing the total allegations to 59 across multiple alleged victims.
Andrew Tate, 39, now faces seven additional rape counts along with sex trafficking charges and allegations involving indecent images of a child. His brother Tristan, 38, has been charged with two rape counts and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation. Both men hold dual U.S. and British citizenship and have maintained their innocence through their attorney.
The brothers were arrested in Miami over the weekend following Britain’s announcement of the new charges. Attorney Joseph McBride stated he does not anticipate their release following Monday’s hearing and cautioned that multiple proceedings lie ahead in the extradition process.
Malcolm McHaffie, head of the Crown Prosecution Service’s Special Crime Division, confirmed the decision to prosecute the pair for additional offenses. The alleged crimes span from July 2010 to August 2017, according to British prosecutors.
The Tate brothers currently face separate criminal investigations in Romania, which began in December 2022. Additionally, Andrew Tate confronts a civil lawsuit in Britain brought by four women who allege physical and sexual abuse between 2013 and 2015; his legal team maintains all activity was consensual.
