Local 10 Invites High School Athletes to Share Season Highlights Through Photo Submission Program

With high school sports seasons underway across South Florida, Local 10 is launching High School Spotlight, a community-driven initiative designed to celebrate student-athletes and their accomplishments. The station is soliciting photos from parents, families, coaches, and athletes themselves through Local10.com, offering a platform to showcase memorable moments from the playing field.

Submissions may capture game-winning plays, athletic achievements, or team celebrations—ranging from decisive touchdowns and goalkeeper saves to volleyball rallies, cheerleading performances, and cross-country finishes. Local 10 emphasizes that images need not depict championship-clinching moments; first games, senior night observances, team traditions, and coach celebrations also qualify as worthy entries.

The initiative spans Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties, providing a venue for athletes to represent their schools and communities. Participants are instructed to include athlete names, team affiliations, and school information when uploading photos to ensure proper identification and recognition.

Selected submissions will receive airtime as part of Local 10’s High School Spotlight coverage. The station encouraged parents, guardians, and athletes to prepare their best photography from the season for consideration.
