Gabby Forza has completed her signing with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, adding another competitor to the company’s Knockouts Division. The wrestler cited TNA’s willingness to facilitate intergender competition—pitting women against men—as a primary draw for joining the promotion, an opportunity she has actively pursued throughout her independent wrestling career.
In interviews, Forza emphasized that competing against male wrestlers represents a cornerstone of her professional identity and athletic approach. She identified Ricky Sosa as her first desired opponent within the TNA roster, viewing intergender bouts as a natural extension of her wrestling philosophy and a potential highlight of her time with the company.
Before entering professional wrestling, Forza competed as a seven-time All-American linebacker in women’s tackle football for 15 years, including five seasons on boys’ teams as the sole female player. She also spent time as a competitive powerlifter, backgrounds that inform her in-ring physicality and her self-described ability to compete against opponents of any size.
Forza transitioned directly from football to wrestling without extended downtime, bringing what she describes as peak physical conditioning and strength to the professional circuit. She credited her athletic background and childhood sparring with her brother for developing the fearlessness and combat readiness that define her wrestling persona.
The wrestler expressed aspirations to serve as an inspiration for young women who do not conform to conventional physical standards, citing TNA’s roster composition as reflective of her own goals for athletic representation and star power within professional wrestling.
TNA Wrestling broadcasts “Impact” programming Thursday nights at 9 p.m. ET on AMC. The company will hold its Lockdown pay-per-view event Sunday, featuring matches contested inside steel cages. No specific debut date has been announced for Forza.
