A morning commute in Inwood turned dangerous Thursday when two vehicles collided at the intersection of West 204th Street and Sherman Avenue shortly after 6:30 a.m., leaving three people injured. The impact sent at least one of the vehicles onto the sidewalk, striking a pedestrian in the process.
Emergency responders treated the pedestrian along with two additional individuals injured in the crash. Details regarding the severity of injuries and the circumstances that led to the collision were not immediately disclosed.
The force of the collision proved severe enough to damage multiple vehicles parked nearby. Authorities remained on scene as they investigated the cause of the two-car accident.
