Titans Secure Peter Skoronski as NFL’s Highest-Paid Guard With Four-Year Extension

The Tennessee Titans announced Friday they have extended offensive lineman Peter Skoronski with a multi-year contract that establishes him as the league’s highest-paid player at his position. According to details disclosed to The Associated Press, the agreement spans four years and carries a value of $100 million, with $88 million guaranteed. ESPN and the NFL Network confirmed the contract terms earlier in the day.

Skoronski, the 11th overall selection in the 2023 draft, expressed gratitude for the opportunity in a written statement, crediting Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk, general manager Mike Borgonzi, and head coach Robert Saleh for their confidence in him. The lineman emphasized his commitment to the franchise and pledged to earn the trust they have placed in him through daily performance.

The extension represents the second major contract the Titans have doled out to retain a cornerstone player this offseason. All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons signed his own extension in late June, becoming the highest-paid player at his defensive position.

Borgonzi praised Skoronski’s work ethic and competitive drive, stating the organization views him as essential to its long-term success. The general manager noted the team’s goal of keeping players who embody the standards and culture the franchise seeks to establish.

Since his rookie season, Skoronski has demonstrated remarkable durability, starting 47 consecutive games without missing a snap during the past two seasons. His 48 total starts represent the most by any Titans player under 25 years old since 1999, a distinction he now holds at age 25. Skoronski finished fourth in All-Pro voting at left guard for the 2025 season.
