An OnlyFans content creator charged with fatally stabbing her boyfriend in Miami has agreed to enter into a plea arrangement, according to confirmation from her legal team on Friday. Details regarding the specific terms of the agreement were not disclosed at that time.
Courtney Clenney, 30, has remained incarcerated at Miami-Dade County jail since August 2022 on a second-degree murder charge stemming from the death of Christian Obumseli, 27. The incident occurred on April 3, 2022, at the One Paraiso residential tower situated at 3131 NE Seventh Avenue in Miami’s Edgewater district.
Clenney, who operates professionally under the name Courtney Tailor, acknowledged responsibility for the stabbing following a confrontation with Obumseli. Her defense team maintained that she acted in self-defense during the altercation, though prosecutors disputed this characterization, stating that Obumseli was unarmed and that the stabbing did not constitute justifiable self-defense.
The defendant faced potential life imprisonment prior to the plea arrangement. A scheduled court hearing in Miami-Dade circuit court on August 10 will address the agreement, though Clenney’s attorneys declined to provide additional commentary beforehand.
