South Florida’s celebrated Miami Spice dining initiative kicks off Friday for its silver anniversary year, offering patrons access to specially curated prix-fixe menus across the region’s finest establishments through month’s end in September. The program features participating venues serving reduced-price brunch, lunch and dinner options, with several restaurants making their first appearance this season.
Four restaurants are debuting in the program this year: Daniel’s Miami, Yamashiro, Maple & Ash and Zuma. Daniel’s Miami presents four distinct Miami Spice experiences, with brunch and lunch menus priced at $40 and dinner ranging from $65 to $95, showcasing items such as Wagyu beef empanadas, grilled branzino, braised Wagyu beef short rib and Florida grits-crusted grouper alongside custom cocktails.
Yamashiro marks its first participation with a $40 Sunday brunch option and $95 dinner menu highlighting Japanese cuisine, including the restaurant’s signature black cod preparation. Maple & Ash, a luxury steakhouse, brings tableside service and signature dishes at promotional pricing, featuring offerings like tuna tartare and filet mignon with truffle.
“We build everything around fun,” said Maple & Ash executive chef Kam Losonsky. “You’re getting a luxurious experience” and “options you really aren’t gonna get anywhere else, especially for this price point,” he added.
Additional returning participants include Jaya at The Setai with Asian-inspired lunch and dinner selections, Zuma with menus at $35 and $60 including the signature Maple Cheesecake, and CATCH Miami Beach offering a $65 dinner menu with seafood, sushi and steak choices. Michelin-starred establishments Le Jardinier and Stubborn Seed return with French and contemporary American three-course offerings respectively.
Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink rounds out participants with rotating three-course lunches and dinners showcasing fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The program runs through September 30, providing restaurants an opportunity to attract new clientele while offering diners access to premium dining experiences at reduced rates.
