Two locations of a Toronto-based Jewish-owned bakery chain came under attack Sunday morning, with one store sustaining gunfire and another experiencing window damage, according to law enforcement officials. The incidents occurred in separate attacks, though investigators have not yet determined if the two events are related. Toronto Police confirmed that no injuries resulted from either incident.
Authorities are actively working to identify those responsible for the attacks on the bakery locations. The Toronto Police Service has enlisted both its Hate Crime Unit and the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force to lead the investigation into the incidents.
