A salmonella outbreak has sickened approximately 100 people across multiple states, with federal health officials tracing the contamination in part to eggs produced by Midwest Poultry Services in Texas. The company has initiated a voluntary recall of roughly 19 million eggs as investigators work to contain the outbreak and prevent additional illnesses.
