Actor Matt Damon attended with his wife Luciana, while actor Tom Cruise delivered the opening remarks before kickoff. The matchup marked a significant moment in global sports, with celebrities from music, film and fashion filling premium seating throughout the stadium.
Damon, arriving directly from promotional duties for Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey”—which grossed over $264 million worldwide during its opening weekend—appeared in casual attire with dark clothing and jeans. His wife Luciana wore Argentina team colors, including a cropped jersey, scarf and low-rise white denim, visibly supporting the South American squad throughout the contest.
Cruise maintained a low-key appearance in black separates and was seated alongside David and Victoria Beckham, along with their son Cruz. The Beckhams presented polished looks, with David in a tailored suit and Victoria opting for a sleeveless top and white bottoms.
The halftime entertainment featured music’s biggest names performing on the world stage. Shakira performed in a striking pink and yellow cut-out dress, while Justin Bieber took the stage in green and white. Madonna appeared in a pink and white corset, joined by Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams and Laura Pausini, who coordinated in blue.
Additional celebrity attendees included Kylie Jenner with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Blake Lively, Anya Taylor-Joy, Javier Bardem, and Richard Gere. Jenner wore black separates with sunglasses, while Taylor-Joy appeared in a cream one-shoulder top with coordinating accessories. Beyoncé opted for a white jacket and lace skirt paired with dark eyewear.
