Marine rescue units from Wallington Fire Department Rescue Co. 204 have mobilized to conduct an extensive search of the Passaic River following reports that two children have gone missing in the waterway. The rescue operation is currently underway with specialized water rescue personnel deployed to the area.
Officials have not yet released additional details regarding the circumstances of the disappearance, the ages of the children involved, or the timeline of when they were last seen. Rescue efforts remain focused on locating the missing minors in the river.
