Law enforcement in Hollywood is appealing to the community for assistance in locating the family of a young boy discovered alone in the city. The child was spotted in the vicinity of Sheridan Street and State Road 7, prompting officers to take him into custody for his safety.
The boy, estimated to be between 10 and 12 years old, has brown hair and brown eyes and does not speak verbally. Investigators have not yet been able to establish his identity or locate his guardians through initial inquiries.
Anyone with information about the boy’s identity, family members, or residence is encouraged to reach out to the Hollywood Police Department. Residents can call the department’s tip line at 954-764-HELP or dial 911 with any details that could aid in the investigation.
