Young Child Critically Hurt After Plunge From Fifth-Story Window in Bronx Apartment Building

Emergency responders rushed to a six-story residential structure located on Oak Terrace in the Bronx following a dangerous fall on Friday evening. The incident took place shortly after 6 p.m. when a 2-year-old child plummeted from the fifth floor of the building.

The toddler sustained critical injuries from the fall and required immediate medical attention. First responders transported the young child to a nearby hospital for treatment of the serious wounds sustained during the accident.
