Hulu announced plans to expand its holiday programming slate with new seasonal content featuring two of its most popular animated comedies. The streaming service revealed that “Family Guy” and “Bob’s Burgers” will each deliver special episodes timed to upcoming holidays, with releases scheduled for later in 2024.
The “Family Guy” Halloween special will feature actor Kieran Culkin in a notable guest role as the Devil. The announcement came during the entertainment industry’s major summer gathering at San Diego Comic-Con, where the streamer showcased its upcoming slate of original programming.
Details regarding the “Bob’s Burgers” holiday special were not immediately disclosed at the Comic-Con presentation. Both projects underscore Hulu’s strategy of using established franchises to drive subscriber engagement during key seasonal viewing periods.
