Authorities have confirmed the discovery of Julie Goforth, a 63-year-old retired educator from Long Beach, in a remote section of the Mojave Desert. The search concluded six days after she disappeared while operating her dirt bike in the El Mirage Dry Lake Off Highway Recreation Area located near Adelanto.
According to law enforcement officials, Goforth had ventured into the off-road recreation zone when she went missing. The circumstances surrounding her death remain under investigation by authorities in the area.
