Jude Bellingham delivered a commanding performance Sunday as Real Madrid maintained its unbeaten streak under José Mourinho with a dominant 4-0 home victory over promoted Malaga. The English midfielder found the back of the net and orchestrated another goal, extending a stellar run that has now seen Madrid win all three matches under their new manager. Kylian Mbappé and substitute Arda Güler also contributed to the rout, which came against Malaga in their return to La Liga after an eight-year absence.
Bellingham’s opening goal came after he surged past Malaga’s defense and fired past goalkeeper Alfonso Herrero from a tight angle, prompting supporters to sing the Beatles classic “Hey Jude.” His second contribution arrived moments later when his header from Mbappé’s effort ricocheted off defender Carlos Puga and deflected past Herrero, putting Madrid firmly in control before halftime.
Mbappé extended Madrid’s advantage with a volley from Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross, with Alexander-Arnold making his first appearance at right back in the lineup. Güler completed the scoring in the second half with an assist from Vinícius Júnior, cementing Madrid’s commanding performance.
