The 2026 FIFA World Cup drew an impressive array of Hollywood talent to stadiums and arenas throughout North America, with entertainment’s biggest names dotting the crowds for matches spanning the tournament. Celebrities attended for varied reasons—some reconnected with their athletic roots, while others came to support their native countries or simply enjoyed the spectacle of international soccer competition.
Brad Pitt made multiple appearances during the tournament, including a private suite viewing of the Turkey versus USA matchup where he wore a blue star-emblazoned jersey. The “Fight Club” star shared the suite with actor Colin Farrell, who was dressed in a red and white striped shirt. Later, Pitt attended Spain’s quarterfinal contest against Belgium alongside his girlfriend Ines de Ramon and fellow celebrities Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem.
Tom Cruise was photographed seated adjacent to David and Victoria Beckham during the USA-Paraguay match. The Beckhams maintained a consistent presence throughout the tournament, frequently bringing their three children—sons Romeo and Cruz, and daughter Harper—to matches as a family experience.
The Beckham family attended England’s quarterfinal victory over Norway, which advanced the team to face Argentina in the semifinal. England ultimately fell to Argentina 2-1 in that semifinal contest, leaving Beckham visibly emotional in the stands. Spain’s quarterfinal match against Belgium drew both Penélope Cruz, a native of Alcobendas near Madrid, and Javier Bardem, who hails from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Other notable attendees included Paris Hilton and her husband Carter Reum, who brought their children Phoenix and London to the Turkey-USA match in matching sparkly red, white and blue jerseys bearing the family name. Hilton also attended the USA-Belgium match in Seattle. Jessica Alba brought daughters Honor, 18, and Haven, 14, to the Turkey-USA fixture, where they posed for selfies with other attendees in their private suite.
Additional celebrities spotted throughout the tournament included Martha Stewart at the Sweden-France match in New Jersey, Sabrina Carpenter attending Ecuador versus Germany with binoculars in hand, rapper Jay-Z in an all-white ensemble at the Côte d’Ivoire-Ecuador match, and Ryan Reynolds supporting his native Canada at the Canada-Bosnia and Herzegovina game. Sofia Vergara and Owen Wilson were photographed on the sidelines before the Paraguay-USA contest.
