Running back Ja’Quinden Jackson of the Philadelphia Eagles was removed from the field via ambulance following an injury sustained during the opening kickoff of Saturday’s preseason matchup against the New England Patriots in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Medical personnel from both teams responded immediately to assist Jackson, who remained motionless on the field after the play.

The Eagles confirmed that Jackson retained strength and movement throughout his extremities and was transported to a local hospital for comprehensive medical evaluation. Jackson was participating on the kickoff coverage unit when the incident occurred, though his exact involvement in the play remained unclear at the time.

Trainers and medical staff quickly brought a backboard and ambulance to the scene as players from both squads knelt respectfully along the sideline. Before being loaded into the ambulance, Jackson briefly raised his left arm as his teammates gathered nearby. Play resumed several minutes after his removal from the field.
