The Drug Enforcement Administration has entered the investigation into the death of actress Hayden Panettiere, according to reports from TMZ. Federal agents are now assisting in multiple concurrent death probes already in progress, the outlet reported.
Panettiere, known for her roles in “Nashville” and “Remember the Titans,” was discovered unresponsive and in cardiac arrest at a Greenville, South Carolina apartment on Sunday. She was 36 years old. Medical personnel attempted resuscitation, but she was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
An initial autopsy examination revealed no evidence of physical trauma contributing to her death, according to information confirmed by Fox News Digital. The investigation remains ongoing with additional details expected as authorities continue their work.
