WWE’s Blake Monroe Eyes Jennifer Lawrence as Dream Ring Opponent

Professional wrestling has increasingly attracted celebrity participants over the past two years, with high-profile stars crossing over into the squared circle. Travis Scott assisted John Cena in capturing his 17th WWE championship at WrestleMania 41, while Jelly Roll has competed in multiple matches and Lil Yachty has served as a spokesperson for wrestler Trick Williams.

Blake Monroe, a performer on WWE’s “SmackDown” roster, has publicly identified actress Jennifer Lawrence as her ideal celebrity opponent. Speaking to Love Wrestling ahead of SummerSlam, Monroe referenced a recent film she viewed that she believed demonstrated Lawrence’s potential as a wrestling competitor.

Monroe pointed to a scene from what appears to be the film “No Hard Feelings,” describing Lawrence’s character engaging in athletic combat. “She’s butt-naked giving out perfectly formed Saito suplexes,” Monroe said, adding that Lawrence’s combination of comedic timing and physical presence made her an ideal candidate for a wrestling match.

Monroe has prepared multiple promotional segments for her main roster debut but has not yet competed in an official match. Her previous in-ring encounter occurred in April when she faced Tatum Paxley in an NXT Women’s North American Championship casket match, which she lost. Monroe made a brief appearance on “Friday Night SmackDown” in June, attacking Giulia during a segment.
