A total solar eclipse captivated millions of spectators across a broad swath of northern and central Spain and Portugal on Tuesday, delivering some of continental Europe’s most spectacular viewing conditions for the rare astronomical phenomenon. The celestial event also traversed portions of Greenland and Iceland, extending the path of totality across multiple regions.
