Gonzalez praised Kelce’s legacy and character, calling him one of the greatest at his position while emphasizing his appeal both on and off the field. The legendary tight end believes Kansas City’s offensive weapons—including receivers Xavier Worthy, Rashee Rice, and Tyquan Thornton, along with new running back Kenneth Walker—position the team to field a top-10 offense capable of competing in the AFC.

The former Chiefs draft pick from 1997 stopped short of predicting a championship but suggested Kansas City has a genuine chance to win its division and make a playoff run with Mahomes healthy. Gonzalez also emphasized the importance of early prostate cancer screening, having partnered with Novartis to raise awareness after losing family members to the disease.
