Donna Mills has disclosed that her refusal to appear nude cost her a Playboy magazine cover. The 85-year-old television actress told Fox News Digital that the publication withdrew her planned cover feature after she declined to pose without clothes during a three-day photo shoot.

Mills said she initially agreed to participate in the shoot only after securing explicit assurances that nudity would not be required. Throughout the session, however, she encountered persistent pressure from the photographer to remove her clothing, a request she resisted with assistance from her publicist and hairdresser.

The actress maintained that the photographs retained their appeal without explicit content. “They’re very sexy,” Mills stated, emphasizing that Playboy’s decision to spike the cover marked a turning point in how she viewed such opportunities.

Those unpublished images have now found an outlet on OnlyFans, where Mills recently launched an account at an age when many consider their careers winding down. She acknowledged initially being unfamiliar with the subscription platform but was persuaded after learning about its flexible content policies.

Mills emphasized that her OnlyFans presence will maintain the professional boundaries she has upheld throughout her career. She described her planned content as “spicy” while clarifying that subscribers should not expect her to abandon the standards that have defined her public image.

The “Knots Landing” star, who played the ruthless Abby Cunningham from 1980 to 1989, framed the venture as an opportunity to inspire others that advancing age need not end one’s relevance or ambitions. She received backing from both her daughter and husband before committing to the platform.
