Driver explained that she and a companion, Ben, collided with another vehicle at an intersection on a rural French road when the other motorist failed to stop and struck their car at high speed. She emphasized that the accident was not their responsibility, stating both occupants managed to escape the wreckage alive despite the severity of the impact, which she described as a T-bone collision.

The actress sustained a sprained neck from the crash and acknowledged experiencing shock and emotional distress in the aftermath.
