The Jacksonville Jaguars generated significant online engagement this week when a post featuring a religious message appeared on the team’s official X account during the start of training camp. The message, which read “God is good … All the time!” accompanied by a praying hands emoji, was posted Wednesday at 10:18 a.m. and accumulated 1.9 million views by Thursday evening.

The post’s viral reach proved remarkable given the Jaguars’ typical social media performance. With approximately 857,000 followers on X, the team’s standard posts ordinarily reach between 20,000 and 35,000 viewers. A player granted temporary administrative access to the team’s account posted the message as part of a social media engagement initiative.

The religious declaration drew widespread positive response from fans across the NFL, including supporters of rival division teams. Comments ranged from affirmations of the message to playful remarks about the team’s Super Bowl prospects. Some users questioned the post’s broader theological implications, while others added their own faith-based commentary.

The timing of the post stood in contrast to the team’s June 1 message celebrating Pride Month, which garnered approximately 301,000 views—roughly one-third the engagement of the religious post. The Jaguars were among the majority of NFL teams that publicly acknowledged LGBTQ support during the observance.
