Just like FSU shenanigans, Auburn fan makes absurd promise on social media over summer, now must pay up

Last week, I wrote a whole story about how Florida and Auburn are renewing a century-old rivalry in modern college football.In it, I talked all about the tradition and history between the two teams, while also alluding to some of the toxic barbs being traded by the two fanbases on social media.While I didn’t go into specifics, there was one social media post from back in August that stuck in the back of my mind throughout the entire week leading up to game day.CHASE DANIEL NEARLY MADE TIM TEBOW WALK OFF THE SET OF ‘SEC NATION’ WITH ‘DEROGATORY’ COMMENT ABOUT FLORIDADoes everyone remember the “FSU Poop Guy,” the man who promised to eat dog feces out of a Solo cup if the Seminoles lost to Boston College back in 2024?Well, we got ourselves another one here, folks!A man who goes by the name “Chase Fralick’s Burner” on X decided he wasn’t impressed with the Gators’ quarterback competition this summer and opted to put some skin in the game… literally.Wow! Talk about confidence!I sure hope for his sake either Florida QB doesn’t march into Jordan Hare Stadium and hang nearly half a hundred in their first SEC road start.Oh, well this is awkward.FROM POWER FAILURES TO MORAL VICTORIES, MONDAY NIGHT COULDN’T HAVE GONE MUCH WORSE FOR FLORIDA STATE FANSPoor Mr. Fralick now has to do something so utterly unspeakable in order to reverse this curse, because we all know how Florida State has been holding up as a football team since Poop Guy went MIA and nuked his account.The post has nearly 1,500 bookmarks and almost 1.5 million views, so there’s no escaping what has been promised here.Now, to his credit, Fralick didn’t delete his account like Poop Guy and has since responded on social media multiple times with regard to “Staplegate,” but until words turn into actions and a video or picture of the event is produced, I’m not liking Auburn’s chances the rest of the season and beyond.THE CRAIG CARTON SHOW–UNFILTERED, UNAPOLOGETIC AND UNMISSABLE.
