Good Tuesday morning. There may be some showers this morning off the breeze. Otherwise, most areas will stay dry for the morning commute and at the bus stop.Don’t leave home without the rain gear. Scattered showers are expected this afternoon, with most storms staying inland. There will be breaks in the storms, allowing highs to reach the lower 90s, with heat indices reaching 100 degrees.Please remember: “When thunder roars, go indoors.”Winds will remain out of the east-southeast at 5 to 10 mph this morning, becoming more northeast and slightly breezier starting this afternoon. Erratic winds, along with gusts of 30 to 40 mph or more, are possible as we look ahead to Wednesday.
