Hollywood hit-and-run rollover crash leaves 1 hurt, driver at large, cops say

At least one driver was hurt early Tuesday after a two-vehicle hit-and-run crash in Hollywood left one vehicle overturned, authorities confirmed. Hollywood Fire Rescue medics said they responded at about 5 a.m. to the crash near Taft Street and North 64th Avenue. They said a driver vehicle struck a concrete utility pole and streetlight before overturning.The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene, Hollywood police confirmed. Authorities said the driver of the overturned vehicle sustained minor injuries and was evaluated by Hollywood Fire Rescue medics. They said that individual was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Investigators said the crash also damaged a traffic signal post and other traffic-control devices. The roadway remained impacted while crews worked to make repairs.No other details about the crash or a possible suspect were immediately released.
