Alleged victim talks about meeting woman accused of stealing luxury watches from men in Miami

A New Jersey man, who was visiting Miami, told police officers that Ayzha Flenoury had shown an interest in his watch after they met at a bar in Brickell, according to a police officer’s report. Flenoury, 42, asked him if she could hold his Bell & Ross BR Minuteur Tourbillon, a high-end titanium mechanical wristwatch valued at about $170,000, according to the police report. They left Blackbird Ordinary, at 729 SW First Ave., stopped at a liquor store, and he welcomed her to his room at the Fortune House Hotel, at 185 SE 14th Terrace, according to the report. “He remembered drinking alcohol inside the hotel room … but later blacked out and could not remember much of what occurred afterward,” a police officer wrote, according to the arrest report.On Wednesday, Flenoury, who has an arrest record going back to prostitution cases in 2005, was behind bars facing 11 new charges in three felony cases in Miami-Dade County, according to court and inmate records. “I did consume a liquid that was supposed to be an alcohol, and I believe there might have been drugs in that liquid,” another one of Flenoury’s alleged victims said on Wednesday after her arrest. Police officers arrested Flenoury at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Miami Police Department headquarters at 400 NW Second Ave., according to arrest reports. In court, Flenoury said police officers detained her while she was shopping with her daughter. Surveillance cameras recorded video of Flenoury, and Miami detectives used facial recognition to identify her, according to the police reports. The New Jersey man’s case was on April 16. He reported she had stolen his watch and credit cards. The other two thefts were on July 17 and Aug. 23. Records show prosecutors filed the three cases on Wednesday.In the August case, a man reported meeting Flenoury and another woman outside Club Space, at 34 NE 11th St. He allegedly accepted a ride in their BMW and a drink before they stole his Rolex Submarine Date valued at $15,000, according to police. “The struggle must have happened inside of the car,” the alleged victim said. “I don’t remember the struggle at all.”Flenoury and the other woman allegedly dropped him off at Carl’s El Padre Motel at 5950 Biscayne Boulevard, and Miami Fire Rescue personnel took him to North Shore Medical Center’s emergency room, where police officers found him, according to the report. “I am lucky that I am alive and that nothing else happened that night,” the alleged victim said. Flenoury faced a charge of third-degree grand theft. Her bond was $2,500. “I think it could happen to anybody,” the alleged victim said. “Just a reminder for everybody to be aware of their surroundings. Make sure you are not alone.”In the July case, a man reported meeting Flenoury and another woman on July 17 at Casa Neos, at 40 SW North River Drive, and inviting them to his apartment, where they stole his Rolex watch valued at $15,000, according to a police report. Flenoury faced two charges: Burglary of an occupied dwelling and third-degree grand theft. Her bond was $2,500. In the April case, Flenoury faced eight charges: Burglary of an occupied dwelling, first-degree grand theft, four counts of fraudulent use of a credit card for more than $100,000, and two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card of less than $100. Her bond was $21,501. Flenoury’s total bond in the three cases was $26,501, and a judge asked her to show that the money used for bail was not from the proceeds of her alleged crimes.
