Video shows man abusing, killing ducks in Pembroke Pines, cops say

Police in Pembroke Pines are investigating a disturbing video circulating on social media that they say appears to show a man abusing and killing several ducks, including ducklings.The Pembroke Pines Police Department said it was made aware of the video early Thursday and that its Investigations Division is actively investigating the incident.In the video, which was blurred because of its graphic nature, a man appears to stomp on an adult duck and stand on it for several minutes. A second video appears to show several ducklings scattering as the man attempts to step on them.The incident reportedly occurred near University Drive and Southwest 13th Street in Pembroke Pines.Police said the actions depicted in the video are illegal and cruel and emphasized that the department does not tolerate crimes against people or animals.The age or identity of the man seen in the video was not immediately known. Pembroke Pines police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them at 954-431-2225.
