The NFL and Nike are expanding their successful “Nike x NFL Rivalries” program to include eight additional teams for the 2026 season. The initiative, which manufactures and sells merchandise through Fanatics, aims to strengthen fan engagement and community connection to divisional rivals through uniquely designed uniforms and apparel.
Four AFC South teams and four NFC North teams will participate in the 2026 launch: the Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, and Detroit Lions. Each franchise will debut its Rivalries uniform during a home divisional matchup, beginning with the Colts against the Texans in Week 3 on September 27.
Last year’s inaugural Rivalries collection became Fanatics’ top-selling merchandise release, signaling strong consumer demand for the program. Taryn Hutt, NFL vice president of club marketing, noted that the expansion highlights “the spirit and tradition of football’s greatest divisional rivalries” while celebrating the passionate communities behind each franchise.
The new uniforms incorporate region-specific design elements reflecting each team’s heritage and local culture. The Lions pair Honolulu blue with carbon-fiber-inspired numbers honoring Detroit’s automotive legacy, while the Texans feature an all-white “iced out” design celebrating Houston’s custom car scene with metallic finishes.
Each Rivalries uniform will remain in rotation for three seasons alongside existing alternate uniforms. Additional teams will introduce their own designs during the 2027 and 2028 seasons. Marketing campaigns featuring current players including Jameson Williams, Nico Collins, and Jordan Love, along with local musicians and entertainers, will promote the uniforms in their respective communities.
Fans can purchase the new jerseys beginning September 1. The complete schedule spans from the Colts’ September 27 matchup through the Bears’ December 25 game against the Packers.
