The long-awaited live-action animated feature “Coyote vs. Acme” marks a dramatic departure for one of animation’s most recognizable characters. Rather than continuing his endless pursuit across the desert, Wile E. Coyote has decided to seek justice through the courts against the corporation responsible for his decades of misfortune.
Will Forte takes on the role of Kevin, an attorney tasked with representing the determined Looney Tunes character in his lawsuit against Acme. Forte, known for his slapstick comedy expertise, found the part both challenging and surprisingly natural to inhabit, bringing his comedic sensibilities to the unconventional legal drama.
Joining Forte in the cast is Lana Condor, who portrays Paige and assists in the legal representation of the intrepid cartoon protagonist. Together, the duo works to present Coyote’s case against the manufacturer of the faulty products that have tormented him throughout his storied history.
The film offers audiences a glimpse into a softer, more vulnerable side of the beloved character, moving beyond the relentless pursuit that has defined him for generations. This reimagining transforms the classic chase dynamic into a courtroom battle, giving the iconic character new depth and dimension.
