Enes Kanter Freedom appeared on Fox News’s “The Ingraham Angle” Monday evening to discuss his ejection from Sunday’s Indiana Fever-Chicago Sky contest at Wintrust Arena. The former NBA center was removed from the arena during the third quarter following an altercation with Sky guard Natasha Cloud, who verbally confronted him after he celebrated a three-pointer by Fever guard Sophie Cunningham.

Freedom attended the matchup wearing a shirt defining “woman” as an “adult human female” and stated his primary motivation was supporting Cunningham, who has faced significant criticism for advocating for women’s sports protections. He told host Laura Ingraham that he enjoyed the game’s first half and simply raised his hands to celebrate Cunningham’s made shot, which prompted Cloud’s immediate response.

According to Freedom’s account, Cloud approached the baseline and made personal remarks, specifically telling him that Cunningham would not sleep with him. Freedom expressed confusion over the exchange, emphasizing he attended to support women and the sport itself.

The confrontation escalated when Cloud allegedly leveled profanity-laden insults at Freedom across multiple possessions, with numerous expletives directed at him in front of sections containing children and teenagers. Freedom noted that Cloud appeared to move toward him aggressively before security intervened.

Rather than eject Cloud from the game, arena personnel escorted Freedom from the building. Fever head coach Stephanie White characterized the incident as a social media matter during postgame comments, a characterization Freedom’s television appearance directly contradicted through firsthand testimony of events.
