A woman was taken into custody by Lauderhill police following a stabbing incident that occurred Saturday night, according to law enforcement. The confrontation took place just after 7 p.m. in the 4400 block of Northwest 12th Court.
Emergency responders transported the male victim to Broward Health Medical Center with multiple stab wounds sustained during the clash. Medical personnel reported his condition as stable later that evening.
The identity of the suspect has not been released by authorities, who also declined to provide specifics regarding the circumstances that preceded the violence. Police classified the case as ongoing and active as of Saturday night.
