Julie Tetart, a French basketball player currently preparing for the 2026-27 season with Monaco Basket Association, has not received interest from any WNBA teams despite recent training videos demonstrating her physical conditioning. Tetart, 34, told media outlets earlier this month that she would consider an offer if contacted by a league franchise. The player has been working extensively during the offseason to strengthen her on-court performance.
Recent footage released by Monaco shows Tetart’s muscle development and overall fitness level, highlighting her rebounding capabilities and court presence. Basketball analysts have noted her physical conditioning as comparable to elite WNBA performers, particularly in contested rebounding situations. The training regimen appears focused on the type of interior presence that could address specific challenges facing current league teams.
Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky currently leads the WNBA in second-chance points this season with 148, representing 30 percent of her total 499 points. According to ESPN, Reese’s second-chance scoring accounts for 26.7 percent of her career total, marking the highest percentage among active players and ninth all-time. Despite Reese’s dominance on the glass, no WNBA general manager has moved to acquire a player specifically positioned to challenge her rebounding production.
