Police in Philadelphia confirmed that a one-year-old boy was found safe following the theft of his mother’s automobile in the East Falls neighborhood. The child had been inside the vehicle at the time of the theft, according to authorities investigating the incident.
Investigators are working to locate the suspect responsible for the vehicle theft. The circumstances surrounding how the child came to be left on the roadside are still being examined as part of the ongoing investigation into the case.
The toddler was recovered and reunited with family members. Police have urged anyone with information about the incident to contact local law enforcement.
