A stabbing claimed the life of an Inwood resident during overnight disturbances that followed the Dominican Day Parade festivities. The violent incident marked the most serious of several crimes that emerged as celebrations wound down in the upper Manhattan neighborhood.
Police also responded to reports of two separate shooting incidents in the same area during the same timeframe. Both shootings remain active investigative matters as authorities work to determine circumstances and identify suspects involved in each case.
