Miami reached 92 degrees on Friday, with meteorologists predicting persistently warm conditions extending into Saturday evening. Overnight lows are expected to dip only into the lower 80s by Sunday morning as tropical moisture lingers in the region.

Scattered showers may develop offshore during overnight hours as southeastern winds maintain their strength across South Florida. Rain activity is forecast to continue into early Sunday morning before tapering significantly by afternoon as drier air moves inland from the Atlantic.

Sunday will bring a return to hot conditions with highs climbing back into the lower 90s, though heat index values are expected to soar into triple-digit territory. The combination of heat and humidity will persist as dry air suppresses shower development across the broader region.

Beach-goers should exercise caution as rip current risks remain elevated through Sunday. Swimmers are advised to remain out of the water or, if necessary, stay within sight of lifeguard stations.
