Even more sensitive information including family member names, addresses, and voter registration details circulate through data aggregator websites accessible to anyone.
Never uploading private information to AI services or unfamiliar platforms represents an absolute rule that genealogy researchers must follow rigorously. DNA match lists containing other people’s names, personal financial documents, tax records, or genetic data should never be uploaded to AI tools, AI-powered services, or companies lacking established credibility within professional genealogy communities.
