During a Wednesday campaign stop at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa in Nevada, President Donald Trump prevented a young child from leaving the stage and delivered a quip about the incident that drew laughter from supporters. The moment occurred as Sandra, a Las Vegas casino waitress, began addressing the crowd alongside her husband Brad, an officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, and their two children.
As Sandra started speaking to promote Trump’s administration initiatives including Trump Accounts and tax-free tips, her toddler made an apparent attempt to exit the stage. Trump quickly intervened, catching the child’s attention before he could wander off, then remarked, “I don’t want him to be Biden and fall off the stage”—a reference to former President Joe Biden.
The family’s appearance highlighted Trump’s tax policy agenda. Sandra later encouraged her young son to speak, prompting the child to say “Thank you for my Trump Account” into the microphone, which drew applause from the audience. Trump responded by clapping and telling the toddler, “Good job.”
Trump introduced the family by noting they had benefited from his administration’s tax policies and invested in Trump Accounts for their children. The president, a father of five with 11 grandchildren, described them as “a beautiful family” as they took the stage.
