Total Nonstop Action Wrestling confirmed Monday that wrestlers Mara Sadé and Jody Threat have exited the company’s Knockouts Division. The organization issued a brief statement regarding the roster moves without providing further details on the circumstances of their departures.
Concurrent with the announcement of these exits, TNA revealed plans to bring back a former Knockouts champion, though the company withheld the identity of the returning performer. The mystery signing represents an attempt to generate viewer interest amid recent staffing challenges.
The departures mark the latest in a series of wrestler exits that have affected the promotion this year. Tessa Blanchard, Steve Maclin, Myla Grace, Eric Young, Mike Santana, Tommy Dreamer, Veronica Crawford, Sami Callihan, Travis Williams and Judas Icarus have all departed TNA in 2024.
Despite the roster turnover, TNA has maintained audience engagement through storyline developments involving remaining talent. KC Navarro is positioned as a primary contender for the TNA World Championship against Nic Nemeth, while Jason Hotch captured the TNA International Championship by defeating Mustafa Ali.
The company is advancing toward the crowning of its first TNA Knockouts Television champion. TNA will host its inaugural Lockdown pay-per-view event in over a decade, with all matches contested inside a steel cage structure.
