The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking public assistance in locating a missing boater who disappeared near Marathon in the Florida Keys over the past weekend. The agency has intensified its search operations in the area and urges anyone with relevant information to come forward.

Dustin Southwick was spotted at approximately 8 a.m. Saturday morning aboard a rental vessel in Marathon. At around noon the same day, he was observed near the 33rd Street boat ramp while piloting the rental boat Mauney Marine, according to Coast Guard officials.

Search teams from the U.S. Coast Guard’s Marathon station are actively working to find Southwick. The public is encouraged to report any sightings or information regarding his whereabouts to Coast Guard Sector Key West.
